The goal of Halfmann Teleskoptechnik in Neusaess near Augsburg, Germany, is to design and manufacture state of the art telescope systems and devices for professional astronomical research. We have developed a series of telescopes with apertures up to 1.2m in modern architecture which are used in diverse projects. Direct drives allow very fast and efficient positioning of our telescopes. They are particularly suitable to use in robotic mode. Currently we are designing a new 2.0m telescope. In close collaboration with german and international astronomers we try to help giving answers to the questions of modern astronomy.
